New Delhi: Recent agitation by Baba Ramdev in Delhi demanding to bring black money back to India has received considerable support from the general public, so far. The six day agitation saw hundred and thousands of crowd thronging Jantar mantar in support of Ramdev's campaign to bring black money back to India.

An interesting article published in First Post, tries to analyse the reasons that led to the failure of Ann Hazare movement and how the same people who were standing against Anna have come out in open support of Baba Ramdev.

It is a win-win situation for both the parties. Baba Ramdev needs political recognition, for that he has the support of the people. On the other hand, the opposition parties need an agenda to sink the dwindling UPA boat.  The topic of corruption provides the right kind of platform for parties often accused of playing vote bank politics.

Unlike, Anna Hazare who gave political parties no leverage to exercise political options, Baba Ramdev's formula has pleased all. The parties were seen sharing dais with Baba in an apparent bid to cash in on the public support garnered by the Yog Guru.
