New Delhi: A Sahara Q shop advertisement showing Sachin Tendulkar performing last rites has triggered a storm, with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) getting flooded with complaints.

The ad also shows Yuvraj Singh 'digging own grave' and MS Dhoni, Virendra Sehwag and Virat Kohli carrying a wheelchair.

The "in-auspicious scenes" performed by none other than Tendulkar, a member of Parliament, is being objected amd now a few top leaders of the cricketing world and even the master blaster himself wants to withdraw the advertisement or at least some footage of it.

The interested parties are refusing to remove Yuvraj's footage from the advertisement.

The Sahara India Pariwar is, for the first time, entering the lucrative retail market estimated to be $350 billion with their high claims of "completely adulteration-free" shops.

The ad almost threatens that if you won't buy from the Sahara shop, the consumers will meet the fate -- meaning death.

The shops will come up in 60 cities and towns across five states - Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The shops will sell food and grocery items.
