Govt approved for establishing an autonomous organization North-East Centre for Technology Application and Reach (NECTAR) at an estimated cost of Rs 292 crore.
It will be established at Shillong and will be completed in 12th Plan period.
Objective:
The motive behind NECTAR is to promote application of carefully selected technologies originating from the public funded research institutions under the government
