Here is the simple trick to hide your secret files and folders inside the image file. After hiding the files inside the image, if you open the image by double clicking on it, only the image will be shown. The files you hided inside the image file will not be shown. You have to follow a small technique to retrieve the files inside the image file.
Follow these simple steps and hide your files and folders inside the image file.
1) This trick needs Winrar software. If you have this already in your system continue with the other steps or else download and install it first.
2) Create a folder in any drive and name the folder. I created the folder in the D drive and named the folder as manig.
3) Copy and paste the files you want to hide inside the image in to this newly created folder. I want to hide the folder with the name Videos and Secret. So i copied these two folders into the newly created manig folder.
4) Right click on the manig folder and select Add to Archives...
5) Now the .rar file with the name manig is created in the place where the manig folder exists. In this example manig folder exists in the D drive. So the manig.rar file is created in the same D drive.
6) Delete the manig folder. Now the D drive consists only the manig .rar file
7) Copy and paste the image into which the manig .rar file is to be hided in the D drive. I'm going to hide my manig .rar file inside the image file with the name myphoto. So i copied the myphoto image file into the D drive.
8) Open the command prompt. (Type cmd in the run to open it)
9) By default the current drive will be C drive in the command prompt box. Change the drive to D.
Type d: and press enter in the command prompt to change the drive to D.
10) Now type the following command in the command prompt
copy /b myphoto.jpg + manig.rar myphoto.jpg
(NOTE : Replace the names of the image file and rar file with your image and rar file name. Type the file names with the extensions)
and press enter. Now you will see 1 file copied as output. That's it you hided your secret files.
11) Delete manig .rar file from the D drive. Now the D drive contains only the myphoto image file.
12) Double click on myphoto image file and open it. Only the image will be opened and not your hidden files.
13) To retrieve your hidden files right click on myphoto image then select open with and open the image file with winrar. Your hidden files will be retrieved.
