Has the idea of shedding weight giving you sleepless nights? Where sticking to the diet plan seems almost impossible, and the weight just seems to pound over. And, starving your way to achieve that hourglass figure looks like the only option. Then, it’s time to break this myth. You can lose those ounces of flab without going on a diet by following certain healthy steps. 

Small and frequent meals: Don’t gorge on the food at a single meal; instead try having small meals well distributed throughout the day. A well balanced breakfast followed by fruits, lunch, tea time, dinner and milk is the wholesome distribution and will immensely help you to lose weight without dieting.   

Savour green tea: What better way to lose weight than immerse your senses into the taste of green tea. Well, the tea not just speeds up your metabolism, but also contain potent anti-oxidants that help your body lose weight.  

Drink plenty of water: this will not just flush out toxins from the body but will also make you feel fuller, discouraging any tendency to gorge. Thus, making you eat less and lose weight easily. 

Go for whole grains: Brown rice, barley, oats, whole wheat must make their way into your diet. They improve your lipid profile, consequently helping you in losing weight. 

Walk a mile: Losing weight is not just about eating less, but also about working out. And, if your hectic schedule doesn’t give you time to hit the gym, then make it a point to at least take a walk everyday. Twenty minutes of walking everyday can burn up to 100 calories making you lose that extra flab. So, get off that bus and take a walk. Or simply take the stairs instead of lift; this will surely earn you some rewards.
