Keep summer problems at bay

Keep summer problems at bay

Summer calls for a lot of attention in terms of taking care of one’s skin. Body odour, prickly heat and heat stroke are some the problems one faces in the sweltering weather. So, we list for you some easy tips to get rid of these summer problems:
•    Body odour: The most important thing is to keep your body as clean as possible. Armpits and genitals perspire the most as compared to other body parts. Dab some white vinegar with the help of a cotton ball on your armpits for an odour free summer.
•    Prickly heat: Rashes and prickly heat are also a common problem during summers. The simplest way to curb rashes is to apply ice cubes on the affected area. You can also make a paste of sandalwood powder, coriander and rose water, and apply it on the heat rashes. Allow it to dry and rinse with cold water.
•    Heat stroke: Keeping oneself hydrated is the best remedy to avoid a heat stroke. Also, have aam panna (raw mango juice) and aloe vera juice on a daily basis to reduce the occurrence of a heat stroke. You can also apply onion juice on your chest and behind the ears.
