Ramdev puts UPA govt in a fix; won't be evicted from stadium tonight

New Delhi: Monday, 9:45 PM - Baba Ramdev and his followers to stay at the Ambedkar stadium tonight.



Delhi Police revealed that efforts to move Baba out of stadium will be made on Tuesday.



Monday, 8:20 PM - Baba Ramdev gave a fresh headache to UPA govt on Monday evening from Ambedkar Stadium, New Delhi as he refused to leave stadium despite being released from police custody.



Also, Ramdev has been fasting for the last five days to protest against black money. Ramdev says he will end his fat after all his supporters eat food.



Monday, 7:40 PM - Ramdev and his supporters are now free to go anywhere from Ambedkar stadium as Delhi police has lifted their detention.



Monday, 7:05 PM - Ramdev is now inside the Ambedkar stadium with his thousands of supporters.



More than  7,000 supporters of Ramdev will be accommodated at the Ambedkar Stadium tonight. The stadium has been converted into a makeshift jail.



Monday, 6:48 PM -  Baba Ramdev reached Ambedkar Stadium with huge cavalcade of supporters.



Monday, 6:25 PM -  According to latest reports, Baba Ramdev and his supporters are being taken to the Ambedkar Stadium and not the stadium at Bawana.



Monday, 5:55 PM - As Baba Ramdev's bus reaches Firozshah Kotla Stadium, he refused to alight from the DTC bus demanding all his 10,000 supporters should be detained along with him.



Monday, 5:30 PM -  The first batch of detained protestors have reached Bawana Rajiv Gandhi stadium. 



 According to latest reports, Ramdev will take another 2-3 hours to reach the Bawana Rajiv Gandhi stadium, where a makeshift jail has been made.



Monday, 5:10 PM - Yoga guru Baba Ramdev who has been detained by Delhi Police on Monday for leading protestors said that he will break his fast in jail.



Earlier, Yoga guru Ramdev was detained along with his supporters when they tried to march towards Parliament on an anti-Congress plank demanding immediate steps to bring back black money and to protest against corruption. 



Ramdev was detained near the Ranjit Singh flyover, about three km away from Parliament, under Delhi Police Act provisions for preventive custody when he ordered thousands of his followers to march towards Parliament House. 



Addressing supporters, Ramdev said that the fight against black money and corruption will continue.



Speaking to the media, Ramdev asked people of the country to take out one day from their busy schedule and make his movement a big success.
