Centre passes proposals worth Rs. 23 Crore to build sports infrastructure facilities

Govt approved the proposals financial assistance worth Rs 23 crore under the Urban Sports Infrastructure, to build sports infrastructure facilities in 4 states.

This include:

• Rs 6 crore to construct a multi-purpose hall in the tribal district of Kondagaon in Chhattisgarh

• Rs 5 crore to the Haryana state government to lay a synthetic hockey playfield in the sports complex at Hisar.
• Rs 12 crore to buid a multi-purpose indoor hall one each in Karauli district,Rajasthan and Senapati district,Manipur
