Australia hailed the Kerala government's 'Emerging Kerala' 2012 Global Connect program and expressed its willingness to collaborate with the state in agro-based services and other sectors.
The Australian delegation expressed zeal to:
- Cooperate with the state is deep-sea fishing projects.
- Provide training fishermen and promotion of sustainable, environment-friendly practices
- Share their technology and resources for the proposed Oceanarium and LNG terminal projects
- Enhance technical education in schools and ITIs
Among the mega projects that have attracted Australia's attention are the proposed at Kochi.
